Cortes was invited to paint a wall at the 44th annual NY Graffiti Hall of Fame where artists were supplied with official blackbooks for the event. It was a special edition for the graffiti community as the location, 106th and park ave, was renamed to "Graffiti Hall of Fame Way" with an official street sign unveiling ceremony. Cortes signed many books on that day and has taken on the challenge of filling up the book with a series of freestyles to honor this historic NY moment.
